MOZAMBIQUE, ESWATINI AND LESOTHO
May 25 - June 02, 2025
Led by Tour Lecturer,

Mozambique, located on the southeastern coast of Africa, is a country known for its stunning coastline along the Indian Ocean, diverse wildlife, vibrant culture, and rich history. With a mix of Portuguese, African, and Arab influences, Mozambique offers a unique and immersive experience. From the bustling markets of Maputo to the pristine beaches of Inhaca Island Archipelago, there is something for everyone to discover in this dynamic and beautiful country.

The Kingdom of Eswatini, formerly known as Swaziland, is a landlocked country in Southern Africa and one of the smallest countries on the continent. Its varied landscape, countless mountains, and winding rivers make it an ideal place to escape urbanization. While Eswatini is known for its excellent wildlife safaris, this visit highlights the Swazi culture. Get a close-up look into their daily life and learn about their customs at the Mantenga Cultural Village. Interact with the villagers and witness a traditional Sibhaca dance performance.

Lesotho, an enclaved country that lies within the borders of South Africa, and with a population of 99% Sotho, it is one of the most ethnically homogenous countries in the world. This tour highlights the Basotho culture, one of the few African tribes that have adapted to mountain life. Learn their ways of life and visit a cave village, still inhabited by the descendants of the original builders in the early 19th century. End this amazing adventure surrounded by the pristine natural setting at Tsehlanyane National Park in the Maloti Mountains.
